Ori, translating to, to fold in Japanese, is a simplified and easier solution to carrying less and enjoying more when it comes to picnics. The ORI tote bag takes note of the familiar design and utilizes the concept of a tote bag does it all. Featuring a pattern inspired by Japanese origami the Ori tote bag unfolds to become a convenient picnic blanket. Featuring waterproof nylon ripstop, Ori makes the cleaning experience easy, excellent for lazy summer days at the beach.
Ori was originally developed out of the notion that there needed to be a simpler way to carry all the components of a picnic in one product. As a solution, the idea of origami promoted the notion that a blanket could fold into a tote bag. Ori uses padded panels and topstitching to indicate where to fold and makes it far easier to see the bag come together in form. To notify where to snap first, color coordinating snaps indicate the order.
